Something triggered today's uber low mood...

Could it be because someone has finally found The One, while i don't (Envy?Pride?)

Could it be because i had to help clear someone's left-over work (Wrath?)

Could it be, i want that someone badly, but couldn't get her (Lust?)

Could it be because i wanted something, but couldn't get it (Greed?)

Could it be that i didn't get a good breakfast (Gluttony?)

Could it be because i didn't sleep well, due to playing games too late (Sloth?)

Helping a total stranger...

It was last friday, after gym practice, i was approached by a nice lady to help her complete a survey. Naturally, since i'm from a market research company, i've practically failed the first screener question...

And i thought that was the end of it. No! She asked me to sit down, and we talked for at least an hour! Our topics include her experiences in doing interviews for surveys, about the world and how it is prejudiced view (and i totally agree).

She asked me if my company was hiring interviewers, but i couldn't give her a reply, since i'm not from that department.

Initially, i didn't intend to help her ask (c'mon, a total stranger), but, after talking to her for an hour (a total stranger!), a deep urge came from within me...i wanted to help!

So, i gave her number to the respective department, and good news! She's coming to the office for an orientation on monday!

I've never felt so glad...

Damn those idiots....

Do you seriously think those indons care? Year after year, they burn and burn, year after year, we get this %^$& haze. For them, save money is wat matters to them, F^&k to the others...

These few days the haze has been terrible, especially in the evenings... the haze was soooooooo bad, i couldn't see 100m ahead of me...ok, it ain't THAT bad, but you get the hint. The PSI readings had peaked at 150 yesterday nite, and hell, it was bad.. there's even the burning smell...

I had a lil trouble breathing yesterday, my lungs had a slight pain when i inhaled..damn indons, if i die of this, my soul will haunt u damn idiots till Ragnarok comes!

Today marks a new era, a new beginning in family travelling experience.

Today marks the arrival of Dad's new Honda Odyssey. And it also marks the end of 5 years of service for the Mercedes E200. This car has served us well, though it suffered several scratches by damn vandals, some small dents here and there...

Oh, the Odyssey was supposed to be with us on Saturday, but on that day, while driving the car down from the delivery centre, our "kan-cheong" dealer scratched the front bumper, so had to rework on it (she's bearing full responsibility, since she's the one who drove)...

Hopefully she's less "kan-cheong"... i wanna sit on the new car...

My nose has been acting up for the past 4 days... started on thursday (that was the worst, i couldn't even go gym because of it), today its still wheezin'....

Weather? Could be.. its been quite hazy...

Anywho...

I finally got a new phone! Whoopie! W700i, walkman phone, 2Mega-pix camera, mp3 ringtones, Bluetooth! Managed to trade in the ol-trusted K508i for 60 bucks, the W700i was retailing at $138... so in essence the new phone costs $78 :) Goodbye, ol K508i, you have served me well these 2 years. May you rest in pieces(scrapped)/find a new owner(resold)/be of help to other phones(parts taken out and re-used)
