Posh Bus... but at rush hour?

Yesterday after gym, got on the usual bus ride home...

Realised something was wrong, some of the seats were facing a different direction from the usual layout...

I've heard friends talking about this, the so-called "high-class" bus, with better seats and nicer settings... but c'mon, its not like the operator doesn't know that the time of the day, that bus will be packed like hell...so why still use this bus??? haiz

I even saw one aunty squeezing into the seat with another lady.. the lady looks uncomfortable, but that aunty got that "bo chup" look. Even when more seats are available, she didn't move to a free seat, just sat there, squeezing... kao, the world still got this type of people...

I don't mind taking this bus (i believe no one does, its pretty comfy actually), but next time arrange it such that it doesn't come during packed hours.

    Rabbit Pee & Shit

Did Taiwan people take inspiration from Rabbits to make Milk tea with Pearls?

    ---

Last nite i took Tsutsu & Vivi out for some quality time after (my) dinner. First took Tsutsu out, laid her on my tummy while i slacked on the sofa, and sayang her. She seemed to enjoy it, so i didn't notice anything peculiar... until 10-15 mins later, i felt a wet spot on my singlet... wet.. wet.. and warm.. warm... WARM!!!!!

    Tsutsu peed.

    KAKA!

Had to take off the singlet for wash (got a lil earful from mom when she found out).

Next i took Vivi out, this time somewhat cautious (in case she too decided that this biped being is a walking toilet..). Same, slacked on the sofa, sayang the little critter. This time, to my relief, no pee... but when i got up, i realised 10+ black little pearls on me.

    Vivi shit.

    KAKAKA!

Well, at least they aren't wet or anything, just solid, little black balls.. but many! i counted at least 10 on me.

    -----

Now... rabbit pee is brown in colour... like milk tea... and their shit is like little black balls... sounds familiar?

i don't think i'll be drinking these anytime soon.

    Vivi & Tsutsu

Welcome, the new addition to my family, on sunday 28 Jan 2007:

brown one is つつ (Tsutsu) & Vivi the white one :)

They came from Nicole's (colleague) latest litter, she was looking for someone to take care of these young ones :)

However, my mom fears that they are of different gender, and know how rabbits breed like mad, might have to exchange one of them with Nicole...

but change who... Tsutsu or Vivi? Change liao, need to give the new one a new name...

Blogthings:What Are The Keys To Your Heart?

    The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who have a split personality - cold as ice on the outside but hot as fire in the heart.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You'd like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as something you can get or discard anytime. You're feeling self centered.
What Are The Keys To Your Heart?

World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Launch Party, 16 Jan @ Suntec

Yesterday went with QW & Kid to Burning Crusade's (BC) launch party @ Suntec..

Damn lotsa people, ranging from school kids to middle-aged men, all there for one purpose: to enter the Dark Portal, and to the Outlands, to get to level 70!

    ...

and there i was, a meek little level 38, amongst the l33ts. Haahaa.

While we were having dinner @ Carl's Jr., we met several of Kid's Alliance Guild mates.. and a HUGE group of Horde Players, who happen to be on the same server as us.. (Makan@Dragonmaw. mark this name well.)

The party wasn't that great. No cosplayers. DAMN! I ain't really expecting a Hot Night Elf female, but at least gimme a normal human cosplayer, dammit!

Oh. Someone walked away with a Collecter's Edition of BC. Worth at least US$350 (starting price on EBay, or at least that's what the CEO of Asiasoft said...but last checked, the average going price is US$100...WTF, Asiasoft & Blizzard Scams our gold?!!). Free :)

No photos.. coz nothing worth to take picture.

Restarted to play again... late nites are coming back...

Not good. Gotta control. Latest is till 1am (coz by the time i finish my pre-logout admin, its 1.30am).

Tonite gonna go collect the family photos we took at the Glamour Studios. Hopefully they give me a softcopy for Net Posting.

    Regret Factor (RF)

    Dammit!

I spend alot these two months (from December til now)

lemme see... on a Regret Factor (RF) of 5 (where 5 is PURE REGRET, 1 is NO REGRET)...

    Dec:
Christmas Presents: approx. $200/- (RF Value 2: Although i spent quite alot, i did get abit back... and its the season of sharing, so, i guess its ok.)

    Jan:
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops: $67/- (RF Value 3: Nice game.. but i'm not playing it THAT often..)

Kenko Massage Package (10 sessions of 45min Hand,Foot & Shoulder Massage): $350/-(RF Value 3: Feels great after the massage... but like dat one shot 300 bucks gone.. abit pain..)

Claire's Bdae Present: $70+ (RF Value 1: no regrets, its for her 25th Bdae!)

World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade expansion + 60 day game card: $114 (RF value 3: sigh..and there i was, hoping to strike a balance of life, games, gym and work, i go buy the expansion... oh well..)

Plus, my monthly spendings on Wangan must be controlled! I'm easily spending a over hundred each month, that has to stop!

I need to exercise self-control over my spendings....

    Must.

Cash is King! (refer to the previous post if u dun get what i mean.)

    Chinese Horoscope for 2007.

    Not a good year.. again.

    Horoscope for the Rooster sign

    ---------------------------------
Some patience is still required for people who are born under the Rooster sign, as the inauspicious stars still outnumber the auspicious ones this year. Success is still hard to come by, while financial well being is still in the doldrums. What helps your luck is that you are able to excel in what you do, especially when dealing with a foreign element, though diligence is required to avoid disputes in deals with foreigners. A huge element that can deplete your thin luck further is the presence of mean people in the work place. If you are in business, beware of business partners and do not take things for granted - always double-check the procedures and the important paperwork.

Wealth element is weak. Avoid straining your situation further with risky investments, and do scrutinise your would-be collaborators before taking the plunge. Still, cash is king - the best strategy for money is to keep it.

Romance luck is eventful with much bad interference. If you treasure an existing relationship, protect it from gossips and be objective in discerning real problems from emotional ones. The former group is precarious while the latter group is merely vicarious.

    Sooooo... in conclusion:

    1. Watch for bad guys
    2. Stop overspending!
    3. No love luck.

    Not too bad, eh? Hahahahahaahaaaa!

    Massage

No, not those shady shops where the "Massage Therapists" sport skimpy skirts and offer "extra" services.

No, this is a legitamate business, and pretty well-known.. i think :)

Met Big-sis Jo yesterday after her "hip-hop" dance lesson @ Millenia Walk (oh, how envious! a guy like me with poor hand-eye-leg co-ordination, wouldn't last 5 mins in such activities), thereafter she suggested to go for a quick massage at the nearby KENKO Foot Reflexology Centre. She went for a 45 min Foot Reflexology treatment, while i went for a 30 min shoulder massage. (The ear candling looks interesting... and yet...itchy.. imagine having to stick a bamboo pole in your ear...hahahaha)

OUCH! Was the initial feeling when the Therapist used her elbows and hands to apply pressure to my stiffened shoulders and back... but after a while... it felt great. Before i knew it, 30 minutes was up (damn the world's fasted 30 minutes). I felt relaxed, stress-free, and great! I had to have more!

So.. i signed up for a ten session foot, hand and shoulder massage. (Ouchies to the wallet, that course brought me $350 down ><)

Think the coming friday i'll head down for another relaxing massage :)

    Strange Dream..

    Another strange dream...

Dreamt that i was sleeping, when suddenly a bee appeared out of nowhere and stung my leg... it felt so real, i could feel the stinging pain on the leg (and for that moment, it felt that i wasn't dreaming). However when the bee was done with me, instead of a sting mark, it left a huge gash 0n the leg, and blood was flowing out.. i was so scared... dunno what to do... tried to get up, but more blood flowed out... and it was still painful...

No choice, i endured the pain, got up and walked to my mom's room.. more blood was spilling from the wound..

    Then i woke up.

Immediately i reached for my leg to see if its ok... yes, no sting, no bee, no pain, no wound..

    But it felt so real...

This morning went to Google the interpretation of the dream....

To see bees in your dream, symbolizes good luck, harmony, and bliss. Bees are also symbolic of work and industry as represented by the common phrase "busy as a bee."

To dream that you are stung by a bee, signifies unexpected misfortune and that you will be surrounded by trouble

    !!!!

Whatever man... i'm half sick already, and that's unexpected misfortune enough.... :)

    Bright Lite in the sky...

Was on the street, on my way with my parents to Hougang Mall, when we all saw this bright blue-greenish streak of light flew across the sky. It was in view for around 10 seconds, before it disappeared into the clouds...

We pondered about its origin, and even its intended target/destination.

Comet? Shooting Star? Debris from a Satelite re-entering Earth's atmosphere? Some new top secret weapon by the military? UFO?

Channel NewsAsia had a short article on it, apparently quite some people saw it too.. but no one (at that moment, and as of this posting) knew its origin...

It was damn cool though.... :)

1st January: Vivo City + Sentosa adventure

The first trip of 2007, amid fears of bad weather and big crowd, i headed for Vivo City / Sentosa with lots of anticipation and excitement (and with my 2 great colleagues+friends+sisters=great people)...after all, its been quite sometime since the so-called huge Vivo City opened, and i belong to the 20+ percent who hasn't been to the shopping mall yet...

We got there at 1pm, where we had lunch at this place called "White Dog Cafe" (too bad, ain't no Black Cat Cafe... heh). Food was nice, but the chicken leg i had was a tad over-grilled...

Thereafter we headed for Sentosa... skies slightly dark, and it had drizzled abit, but hell with that, in we went to the island. First stop was at the Merlion attraction, but since it costs 8 bucks to enter, we just took a few pics outside...

Next, we headed to Siloso Beach, via the Dragon's Trail.... where it started to rain...we managed to complete the walk thru the forest, but got a bit wet in the process.

Silso beach still had remnants of the previous night's New Year's Eve party, debris everywhere... but it was still nice, as i've not walked on a beach for at least 5 years... and i choked on my first deep inhale of the sea air... haahaa :)

Next we took the bus to Palawan Beach, where we got there just in time for sunset... come to think of it, it was chance that brought us there, since we had decided to leave the place (damn weather), but we kinda took the wrong bus, and ended up at that beach.

Looking at the first Sunset of 2007, i felt a renewed sense of purpose. I need to get moving. I can't stay stagnant for too long.

And with that, ends the short, rain-filled adventure to the little island. I will be back, when the skies are blue, when rain clouds are somewhere else...

Didn't take dinner that night, wasn't feeling that well (perhaps it was the rain?).

I succumb to my love for toys again... this time, i build my own bear, "Victaru", a velvet teddy, and i gave him a camo-tee and pants set, with sneakers and hat to match. :)

    Cost me 70 bucks though.....

And so, this was how i spent my 1st day of the year :)
