Long week...
I got back from KL, to a week of new projects, work, and some gossips.. and much unhappiness and sadness...
Won't elaborate much on what happened last week, but for those who are involved/aware, all i can say is..
The Wheels of Change has been set in motion...
..hopefully.
With such a long week past, i went to get my 45min foot, shoulder and hand massage @ Kenko (which i signed for 10 sessions), ended up doing 1.5hrs of it.. so relaxing, my stiff neck never felt better! Should do it once a month...
Today's Monday, a rainy monday.
I hope whatever happened last week, would have a positive impact.
Hope. Something that keeps humans going, something to give humans things to look forward to.

KL Training: Days Four & Five, + Departure day + Final Thoughts.
Didn't post for Days Four and Five, coz i got back to the hotel late for those days... but i'm back-dating this post to Saturday (its monday, and i'm at work now)
Training went well for the final 2 days, alot to absorb. Glenn came in hard, with lots of concepts and ideas, and i could see alot of potential with this new software environment we're moving to. But for the moment, its test-and-trial time, to see the limits of what we could do... and what we can't.
Thursday dinner was a ala-carte buffet dinner @ another nearby hotel's restaurant. Not too bad, and we learnt that this hotel used to be the company hotel, but due to the smaller rooms and.. some bad rep (it was rumoured that the massage parlor at this hotel provided.. "Special" services.. if you get my drift XP). Had loads of laugh, and lots of food.
Friday dinner we went for seafood, somewhere near the Bangsar Village where we went on Wednesday. After dinner we went to see the "Eye on Malaysia", the ferris wheel in KL. There was supposed to be fireworks (and there is), but by the time we got there (KL is famous for traffic jams XP), all we got to see was "Thank You, and Good Nite".
WTF.
There we took a few photos (still with the M'sia DP Manager), thereafter we headed to those food streets in KL, where we ordered their local version of Bak Kut Teh (肉骨茶), which is worlds apart from what we have here....c'mon lor, our is literally meat (肉)and spare ribs (骨) with soup (茶), theirs had beancurd skin, pig intestines, etc..not to say its bad, i prefer the version back home. XP
After dinner, it was back to the hotel, and time for the goodbyes; everyone is going back, back to where they came from. Hearty handshakes were exchanged; goodbye hugs were given, and recieved. Promises of meeting were made... and we went our seperate ways.
---
The flight back to SG was in the evening, so checked out the hotel early, and took a taxi to KLCC for some shopping. Didn't know that i was headed for a PURE Branded area... OMG. Its like stepping into Paragon back home, except this was a bigger place.
Needless to say, this non-brand-concious dude took no more than 60 minutes before clearing the area, and left empty handed. KAKA! With nothing much in mind, i went to airport early, intending to rest here..and maybe shop..
Well, i got to the airport pre-lunch, with the flight time in 6hours. Realised there was so little shops around! OMG. So just got down, and had a 2 hour lunch (eating my food while watching Bleach on my PSP). Bored outta my mind! ARGH!
Couldn't take it anymore... so i decided to try to get an earlier flight.. apparently KL-SG flights were jointly maintained by SQ-MH, and there were almost hourly flights to and fro both airports.
The next available flight was for MH... but somehow i didn't feel .."secured", so i opted for the next available SQ flight, at 1700H (1h50min earlier).
The flight back was uneventful...NOT! This time my seating area was surrounded by a Malay family.. and the damn kid at the back kept kicking my seat! WTF! So annoying!
After landing, we went straight to TTSH, where my grandma was admitted to on Wednesday, after having some breathing problems. She seemed better, but still slightly wheezy.. hope all is well.
-----------------------------
Overall, the trip was an eye opener for me.. my first solo trip, first overseas training, first contact with overseas counterparts.... made new friends, more contact with different culture..
In someways, i was sad that these 5 days had come to an end. But good things have to end, eh? At least, it still exists in our memories...

KL Training: Day Three
More information coming in.. more to absorb.
But i feel that we're getting somewhere... with all the information being passed on from Glenn, our trainer, i feel that we could start something useful, something worth all the trouble...
I WILL GET THERE!!!!!
Lunch was at this local chain "The Chicken Rice Shop", which we ate... what else, chicken rice! LOL! It ain't bad... =P
Dinner was great, we left the area and went to this place called Bangsar Village, to a well hidden cafe in the middle of a supermarket.. I ordered this drink, "Death By Chocolate", and well.. i nearly died. It was milk, with lots of chocolate fudge inside, with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream... POWER! Main dish i ordered Braised Lambshank with Pie, the thing came in a small container.. but damn, it was filling! Next we went to a local coffee shop and had some tea to relax :)
Today at dinner.. i suddenly got this feeling of calmness.. maybe coz no deadlines to meet, nothing to rush, can just enjoy the training, and talk and laugh with people from all over Asia Pacific.
Just wish life could be so simple, so easy, no worries, no pain, no grief...
of course, there's still reality.
Which i'll be going back to next week.
At least, i still have my darling rabbits tsutsu & vivi, my family, the sweet ladies claire, christina, jasmine and jeanette from office, good sisters janet and huiying, and my best da-jie, Jo :P ...
At least, i still have them... if i loose any of them, i believe i will loose myself too.

Training @ KL : Day One
Yup, day one.
I fell asleep before 1am this morning... it felt like i slept for hours, so i was shocked when i woke up and realised it was only 3am. Perhaps it was due to the unfamiliar settings, or maybe just nervous, as the training was going to start. Luckily i managed to fall back asleep, this time i woke up at my phone's 6am alarm... but i lazed on the bed till 7am, only then i prep for leaving the room.
Went to the Hotel's breakfast @ 8am+, ate bread, cereals, scrambled eggs and beans.
Training was ok, i finally met some faces whom i had been conversing with (either mail or thru tele-conferencing). Unexpectedly, there were a few females in our group, which kinda makes things slightly more interesting.... kakakaka
Lunch was at a Steakhouse below the office (the office was above a shopping mall! Lucky sia! Can walk walk & eat!)
After lunch, back to training again.. so drowsy sia... everytime after lunch always get drowsy...
Spoke with Claire over MSN, that silly girl bought me toy again.. aiyo... you ah.... :)
Finally, training over, went to a thai restaurant below the office. Wow, spicy! Somemore the tom yum soup was in a coconut shell.. wasted, i didn't take a pic.. so unique...
After that, walk abit, found 2 OSTs : Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex OST 3 and an ORIGINAL Shin Angyo Onshi Animation OST. But the original one quite ex, equivalent to 60+ SGD. But original! Inside even got a sticker of the "mahai". So cool!
The pic of the Day:

What's that i see @ the men's urinal???

OMG! Shoot the bull! OMG WTF?!?!?! LOLOL!!!!

Training @ KL : Day Zero.
With much anticipation, excitement, and perhaps, some nervousness, the day for me to leave my home country of 25 years, ALONE, has come.
SQ Flt 112, Boarding @ 1435H. Family and i reached airport @ 1215H, and went to the Swensons for a good lunch.
After some more words of advice (and several more naggings -_-"), i entered the departure hall. I checked the signs for my flight's designated boarding gate: F60. To my horror... it is ALL THE WAY to the END OF the the hall... ARGH! Long walk!
....
Walked there, and realised that's its still early for board, so sat down and played abit of PSP. A while later, its boarding time! With much anticipation, i boarded the plane, window seat, at the wing of the Boeing 777-200.
FLight was uneventful... and real short. Lol, when the air stewardess start to distribute drinks, the captain announced "Please prepare for arrival." It was around 20 mins of actual flight time, with 10 mins each for take-off/landing procedures... kaka
At KLIA, the arrival terminal is seperated from the aircraft gate, hence i had to take their monorail to the hall. Customs were uneventful, and at the hall i bought tickets for the KL Ekpress train which will take me from KLIA to city central. Collected my baggage, and off i went!
The train ride was real quick, 28 mins to reach the city central. There i took their "budget taxi", RM 17, from the train station to Mid Valley City, where my hotel and the office is. Check-in was slightly delayed, as their system was having some problems.
The room is quite big, and it looks alot better than i expected. :)
After unpacking, i headed out for dinner. I went to this sushi restaurant called "Oh Sushi", where i ordered a Teppan Seafood set, which comprised of salmon, calamari and prawns.. YUMMM!
After which i went on a visual scan of the entire mall, and bought
1. One single scoop of "World Class Chocolate", a mix of white and chocolate ice-cream, from Baskin Robins
2. 200gm of Oatmeal and raisin cinnamon cookies, from Famous Amos.
3. A DVD containing the rare "Kacho Oji: Hard rock saves the space" anime.
So, now here i am, alone, far from home...
..and its fun!
