    Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan

    押忍!闘え!応援団!

    Damn this DS Game.

    SO FUN!

    As fun as Cooking Mama.

I tried this game yesterday on my sis's DS Lite, and i fell in love with it.

Of course, knowing how poor my hand-eye co-ordination is, i didn't expect much..

    and i didn't do well..

It took me almost 20 restarts to get past the first 2 levels.

    Basically, each
level of Ouendan features a plot line accompanied by a specific song. A character (or characters) facing a problem will cry "Ōendan!" when their conflict reaches a climax. This call summons the cheer squad, and the song starts. During the game, the story is told on the Nintendo DS's top screen, and gameplay takes place on the touch screen. The player uses the Nintendo DS's stylus to perform varying actions according to the markers that appear on screen.

This, my friends, is what i suck at.

    :)

But, nonetheless, some of the tracks are very nice, especially since their "covers", i.e. not by the original artistes.

Damn, its making me want to own a DS.

On a side note, i've got my hands on one of the latest, and i had to say, interesting, game for my PSP. Called, CRUSH, you play an insomniac, who uses a new technology to find the source of his sleepless nights. The gameplay alternates between 2D and 3D planes, which must be used to get past each levels. Damn hard, i got stuck at level 2.

    :P

But, Ouendan... damn you, dun make me want to buy a DS!!!
