Break from SG
Today i'm going to Shanghai to have a short holiday and join my dad (who's currently there working hard for the family).
Months in planning, this trip finally materialized and today is the day.
Rabbits are in good hands; i've left them in the care of another rabbit lover (she helps board other rabbits too!)
So, everyone in SG, do take care, i'll be back into your arms on 17th!

Movin'
After months of suspense, rumors and speculations, treachery, sex and betrayal, the announcement was made. We're moving.
The office is moving!OK, fine, there was no "treachery, sex and betrayal", just felt like putting it in.
Goodbye sunny Burlington Square. Goodbye Bugis Junction, Sunshine Plaza, Fortune Centre, Guanyin Temple. Farewell Rochor road, Tekka Mall, Bugis Village.
And hello gloomy Jackson Square. Hello Bishan Junction8, Toa Payoh Hub. Greetings to whatever hell there is in the forsaken grounds.

For you fools who don't know where that Jackson Square is, don't both
er looking it up.
Refer to the map, circled area is our new spanking office block. To the north, we have Braddell MRT, south Toa Payoh MRT (indicated by arrows). And we're right smack in the middle.
Where National Semiconductors used to be, will be our new working place.
Even though its closer, the journey there isn't as good as it is now.. no more fast moving trains, i will have to take buses to work. And that will mean longer travelling times.
So close, yet so far. pfft.

Lunch in, lunch unique, lunch lots.
Today Smurfy MC(not feeling well), Stitchy had another lunch appointment. So its little ol' me.
Went to Bugis to check out the basement renovations, and viola, most of the shops have opened! A few of those "quick bites" stalls, a few restaurants (Pastamania, Sakae Teppanyaki [Still Renovating]), fast food eateries.
Feeling hungry, i bought a few items back to office:
="" border="0">From left to right:
1. KFC: Yes, its fast food, and yes, its heaty. But no, i didn't get any fried stuff. Just got a medium coleslaw. (Why? More details, read on!)
2. QQ Rice: Something new. Details to follow.
3. Takopachi: Your typical japanese octopus balls.
KFCMedium Coleslaw. Nothing to say. Your typical fast-food fare. No pics needed. But it seem like i'm fated to eat that. my pocket had the exact change for one. FATED!
QQ RiceOk this is something new. Right off the new area of the Bugis Junction basement.

"Where's the rice" you ask? Look closely. Cannot see? Look even closer. See it? Lemme unwrap.

Yes, people, its that brown chunk of stuff... basically its rice stuffed with fillings and wrapped up. I got the brown+purple rice with turkey bacon, cheese and mushrooms. They even had a purple rice juice (which is in the first picture)
And how do you eat it? Like so.

nom nom nom... finished! A closer look at the packaging.
Takopachi
Sub-par tako-balls. $2.20 for 3, i'd rather go to the pasar malam near my house to get my fix, $2 for 3, more sauce, better taste.
