"upsize, UPSIZE?!?"
This little incident last nite at dinner really cracks me up...
Was having dinner at Mac with sis and mom, went to the counter to order (with my sis).
The kid at the counter (yes, kid, 16 years old), wasn't that good of a service person, before i could finish my order she asked "Upsize, UPSIZE", twice. I didn't really go notice, but it seems that my sis got quite pissed off at this.
thinking back, what training do these kids get when they go into the service sector? To many, its an easy job, taking orders, serving customers, clearing tables. But the underlying stuff, the thing that's most important, is often neglected, forgotten.
And that's how our service level degrades.
